The pollutants that are emitted by cars can be very harmful to your lungs. The University of Southern California did a study that revealed when you spend 6% of your day driving with the windows down in a 24 hour period exposes you to 45% of the pollutants. That is an awful lot of pollutants to encounter in such a short period of time.
